train of thought

Morning mist, sunshine, long grassy hills, and uninterrupted terrain. trees that grow tall and land that feels endless.

I could go on forever. I'm not a city-girl, I'm not an apartment-girl. I love those things now, truly I do. I adore my apartment. I adore living my sitcom dreams. I adore my little city of Rochester.

But I am so excited for the day (several years from now) that I sit down on my very own front porch, look out, and see all of those things I just listed.

Until then, I will embrace the life I'm blessed to have right now.

Sitting here in the Hummer kitchen, I love the way of life.

The one thing I'll need to work on, is that a LOT of people out here are shockingly and wildly ignorant about a lot of things - including race. That deeply bothers me. I guess I shouldn't be too bothered by what people don't understand. But I am. I am upset by their ignorance, and saddened by their closed minds.

I'll work on that.

Or I'll work on them ;)
