the gospel is AMAZING
Today at church, Jared gave a message that I could not have needed more.
What do you love? I know for me, I love soccer, I love traveling, I love lots of things. The example Jared gave for him was fantasy football. whatever it is that you love, you know that it is really easy to talk about these things. It is so easy to talk about the things that we love, and more than that, it is so easy to put effort into the things that we love.
and that's fine!
God gives us our passions for a reason, that we may enjoy them.
However, I'm sure that very few of us... myself included... can admit honestly that we put just as much effort and interest into our relationship with God. and why not?

the gospel should be our EVERYTHING.
our EVERYTHING.
without it, we have nothing.
the brain that GOD GAVE us, the lungs that HE formed, the voice that HE composed- does He not deserve for us to give Him all that we have? does He not deserve for us to worship Him with these things He has blessed us with??
but on top of that... we should want to talk about it!!
we love to talk about the things that we love.. and if this incredible, spectacular, amazing gospel is our everything, if it is something that we truly love, that we choose to express with our lives, then we should talk about it!!!!! we should LOVE to talk about it!
God cannot be belittled.
let's face it, you an i? we can't do anything on our own. we will never be good enough to save ourselves. THAT, is why God's grace is the only thing that can ever get us anywhere!! so why do we think that our plan is greater than His? That He doesn't know what He's doing? because we're human, yes. but I mean, the least we can do is try. get our priorities straight, y'know?
He is our everything, and therefore deserves our everything.
