Oldies or Newies?
you've heard expressions. "dead as a dornail", and "over the hill". Both are old cliches that people over use. am I right? well, even in this generation we are making what will be in a few years, "oldies", or cliches. Back, maybe even just a couple years ago people started saying stuff that we now consider oldies. like, the word heck is now being replaced with Jip by some poeple. "what the jip!" i hear it all the time. I myself say heck a lot. I don't like saying crap, for some reason, but my sister says it a lot, so sometimes i'll be like, "What the craaa-ud" yh, our society can hear something one day, and the next day, if enough people say it, it will be a cliche. we can be really stupid like that. now, however, people are actually starting to bring back old sayings and stuff. The 70s-80s are totally 'in' right now. like, one of my mottos- "peace, love and a heart that shines!" doesn't that sound sooo 70s flower power recycling to you? I think it does. anyway, I have to go, i'll try to write tomorrow. oh, and I allways have something special planned for thanksgiving. Two years ago I did a short "mock oprah talk show" on Stuffing- What it's Really Made of. it was a big hit with me and my sister. hahaha. anyway, yh, I have to go,
