wow.

the power of God. wow. It's incredible. think of a lightning bolt. so powerful gorgeous. only God could create something like that. lightning, it can kill, but if avoided properly is harmless. God, like lightning, can kill, but he also gives life, but unlike lightning, if you avoid God that's what is going to get you killed. In a way lightning and God are oposites. Yes, both are extremely powerful, and beautifull in their ways, but lightning will kill you if you embrace it, spare you if you avoid it, whereas If you embrace God, you will be spared for eternal death, and if you avoid him, you avoid all chances of eternal life. Get what i'm saying? God is not only powerful, he is joyful. He gives us joy. Recently, we suddenly got a ton of snow. and even though I had to help my mom shovel our 100 foot driveway, in 17 degree weather, I felt joy and peace inside. Later, when I was home alone, after my mom left for work, I had a two hour delay, and was waiting inside for the two hours to pass. I started playing the piano. Just random chords. It sounded beautiful. Then I started to sing. I really don't sing. I just started saying, "Sing a song. Hallelujah...Hallelujah... Oooh Praise him!" and it sounded beautiful. I looked outside at the snow, and i was playing the piano, and I just felt and overwhelming feeling of peace. God was with me. God is awesome. He really is.
